In Morocco, time was spent, again in vain, to get the few addresses of the local police stations it would take to complete MOVES’ folders and APP. In recognition of the scope of the difficulties, and after a couple of meetings with the police, we initially gave up and returned to the EU to get the necessary political focus on Cross Border Victims in Morocco.

After a few days of reflection and an exciting conference held by Victim Support Europe in Brussels, where ITAS also participated, the decision to establish MOVES as an independent organization was made and the first potential international partnership was initiated.

Back in the office in Denmark, therefore, the time has gone by preparing the establishment of MOVES in Morocco as well as concluding national and international cooperation agreements.
