It was again time for a trip to Dublin, Ireland to meet with ITAS to hear more about how it works in Ireland as well as a little more history about how and why ITAS was created.

Again an incredibly inspiring meeting that resulted in the last practical things falling into place and The Morocco Volunteers Emergency Service (MOVES) went from an idea to a reality – with inspiration from the ITAS model.

MOVES focus will be to act as a safety net for future international volunteers in the form of a 24-hour call guard who can assist the volunteers if they are so unfortunate to be a victim of an accident or crime as well as an easy overview of all relevant authorities like police, hospitals, doctors, dentists, etc. in Tangier.

The next step will therefore be to contact all relevant authorities, etc. to ensure MOVES has the correct contact information and to draw attention to the project.
